This donation will help achieve Kambio’s mission to empower people in Cartagena, Colombia to exit poverty through education and entrepreneurship. 

Specifically, we are now campaigning towards building capacity for our operations in Colombia. Our model is rooted in helping the locals to build self-sufficiency for a greater impact. We believe that’s how we help people to exit poverty. We provide some tools and resources, helping them to stay focused by offering coaching and mentoring.

Our first projects is Kambio Aquaponics. 

Our goal is to build a 3000 sq/ft aquaponic system that will produce organic tilapia, vegetables, and herbs for distribution at local markets, hotels and restaurants. We expect that this plant will provide employment and revenue that will be reinvested in our efforts to further education among the youth in Cartagena.
